Great to have an image of mine on exhibit at Art Basel Hong Kong again.  This year, a large format print (40" x 55.5") of my photo "Creation" was on display -- paired right next to Nobel Laureate Gao Xing Jian's ink painting.  "Creation" was shot on the big island of Hawaii last August.  It depicts the ocean entry of lava from the Kilauea Volcano into the sea and was captured just before sunrise.  "Creation" was short-listed for the USA Photographer of the Year competition last year.

The large format size of "Creation" is available in limited edition of five.  The first of the five editions has already been sold.

The crowd at Art Basel was tremendous.  It was fun to meet a lot of collectors.  Also enjoyed watching visitors to our booth snapping iPhone shots of my photo:)  Generally, not enough photographs on display in my opinion but I managed to buy a print from Atlas Gallery -- Marc Riboud's famous "The Painter of the Eiffel Tower", personally printed by the photographer.
