It was a thrill to find a trophy in my mailbox yesterday, granted by the International Landscape Photographer of the Year compeition for winning the “Tree” category for my image “Winter Wonderland” shot in Niseko (below). It was also a thrill to receive my hard cover copy of the ILPOTY “Top 101” book for the 101 top overall submissions of 2017. So many nice photos - was very pleased to have six of my images selected for the book this year. An improvement in having one in the book last year. Over 2,500 entries -- I think the overall quality of submissions was very high. Congrats to all the winners!
